3rd Symposium on High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility
3~5 April,2017
1006,Bldg.5,IMP,Lanzhou,China
The High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility(HIAF)is a new accelerator complex proposed by IMP, in order to provide all ion species from proton to uranium for the nuclear physics , atomic physics and applied research sciences. The first and second HIAF symposium have been held in 2014 and 2015, and the HIAF project has been optimized according to the discussion results.
The topics of this symposium include the Lattice design, the injection and extraction, the cooling and vacuum system, beam diagnostics, ion source and iLinac, etc. We look forward to the engaging discussions, exchanges of ideas, and to the major outcomes of the HIAF symposium.
